• Your first sling or carrier rents for $10 fee that will become a gift certificate for QuirkyBaby store credit on any carrier order of $50+ when you return the rental. A flat-rate shipping charge of $10 applies. Rent more carriers (up to four) for the cost of shipping only -- $2.50 shipping for each additional carrier.
  

• One carrier rents for $20, two carriers rent for $22.50, three carriers rent for $25, and four carriers rent for $27.50. Only one $10 rental fee (refunded via QuirkyBaby store credit) per order! Shipping is via U.S. Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, so you will get your rentals quickly. Shipping costs are not refundable.

• Security deposits will be taken on each carrier rental as listed in the item description. You will be called within one business day of your rental order for your major credit card information (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover). (Note: even if you pay for your rental/shipping fee with a credit card I will need to call you for your card number because I do not have access to your credit card number when you order through my secure payment system.)
  

• Your card will not be charged for the security deposit but will only be authorized for payment in case of non-return or damage to the carrier. This authorization will be released when your rental carriers are received back at QuirkyBaby. Please be aware that if you use a debit card the rental deposit may not be available for your use in the interim. Although you may use Paypal to pay for your shipping and rental fee, you must use a major credit card for the security deposit.
  

• You must ship the rental back to me to arrive at my house within three weeks of the date I ship your rental order. This should give you a full two weeks to try out your carrier as Priority Mail only takes 2-3 business days. Orders must actually arrive here, not be in transit, before the three-week period is up. Each additional week that your carrier(s) arrives back late will incur a $10 late fee per carrier (charged in full week increments).
  

• Return shipping is at your expense. I will include return shipping information and the package weight with your order so that you can go to the U.S. Postal Service website, purchase and print postage, and schedule a free carrier pick-up. If you go to the post office, be sure to buy Track and Confirm. Either way, you will need to email me your Track and Confirm number. Insurance is recommended as your security deposit will be charged for any lost carriers.

• Once I get your rental carrier(s) back within the three week period, I will issue you a gift certificate for $10 to be applied to any sling or carrier purchase of $50+.
  

Terms and conditions: by purchasing this rental, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.

• Normal wear on the carrier is just fine -- I want you to try out the carrier in your everyday, real life! Any major damage to the carrier (rips, tears, broken buckles, non-washable stains) will result in a loss of part or all of your security deposit.

• Your rental order will include a checklist of parts and instructions that must be returned with your carrier. Any missing pieces may incur an additional charge. Carriers that are not returned will be charged 100% of the security deposit plus the rental fee.
  

• I must receive your return shipment within three weeks of its delivery to you. $10 per carrier per week, charged in full week increments, will be assessed for every week the return is late.
  

• Please don't wash your rental carrier. I will wash it when I get it back. Please use a damp cloth to spot-clean any minor dirty spots or spit-up.

• I cannot rent to households where anyone smokes, inside or out. Carriers smelling of cigarette smoke (and I have a very sensitive nose) will be charged an additional $20 for deep cleaning.

• Rentals can only be shipped to US addresses (including military addresses).
